Does it give you much hope to swallow That we can die today and still live tomorrow? The pictures you painted, the song in your voice Left you between a plague and a choice When all of your hate soaked up all your fear You winced and replaced your sadness with spears You'll find yourself looking back, thinking how this was unfair But I won't have a minute or a goddamn to care Do you find yourself counting backwards Extinguishing the pain, Choking and sobbing through all your wasted days? Leavings not the hardest part, man, It's saving all the face. I guess I'll clear your space When all of your hate soaked up all your fear You winced and replaced your sadness with spears You'll find yourself looking back, thinking how this was unfair But I won't have a minute or a goddamn to care Maybe god would save your weary soul if you'd only give up on rock and roll Offbrand psychosis You're the leader of your pack Offbrand psychosis Sweat pure never coming back Offbrand psychosis You wasted every breath Offbrand psychosis Now your life is worse than death Maybe god would save your weary soul if you'd only give up on rock and roll

Easy Living 03:47
I can't talk unless I'm drinking And I can't drink without my smoke But if we smoke, no conversation Because no one will get my jokes It's a nightmare, but living's easy I never have to bite my tongue There's no progress But here's no failure My only truth is what I've done I never think about the future And i already lost the past When I was shaking in your driveway With this world taking me to task I can't believe you really loved him And that you'd rather bleed than cry But that was me before you climbed in And tore me up from the inside It's a nightmare but living's easy I never have to bite my tongue There's no progress But there's no failure My only truth is what I've done Did you think that it was worth it I bet it stung, to say the least I can't say that you don't deserve it I can say that I am released I mostly just go out and back now I just say things are piling up I think I like it in the background I think my fill is just enough It's a nightmare but living's easy I never have to bite my tongue There's no progress But there's no failure My only truth is what I've done

The odds are good but th for goods are odd I'm either saving face or playing god There's a difference, don't you know? There's no comfort where we go And I know that you don't have the time To keep these kinds of promises. Left me waiting on your steps In the freezing death But someday I'll lay you to rest anyway Shaking now, taking time The fraud I'm not The heathen I'm taking turns now carving up It's nothing next to what I've become And I know that you don't have the time To keep these kinds of promises Left me waiting on your steps In the freezing death But someday I'll lay you to rest anyway Who could find such a sequence When you keep it like it's a secret? I dare you to find a place where it's different Or a life untouched by it's spirit Left me waiting on your steps In the freezing death But someday I'll lay you to rest anyway

Ain't it all the same? We just get crueler every day Traded stories then Nowadays we have to pretend that We'll all be great We'll all be fine Ten more seconds 'till we've pushed you out, over the line We break bottles Clash our tired hands with broken glass and Keep our posture straight This ain't the place to face your old ways I was satisfied with scraping at the bottom half but This ain't suicide I want to end on my best line I'll forget all I know I'll forget all you've said Chasing sacrifice never ends the way you want it That's all I am That's all this is It's not justified, it won't dissolve away with time. We break bottles Clash out tired hands with broken glass and Keep our posture straight This ain't the place to face your old ways I was satisfied with scraping at the bottom half but This ain't suicide I want to end on my best line

about

for my 28th birthday i decided i would spend my day recording an EP of some songs i had written. i recorded it as raw as possible because i was trying to ripoff the sound of early Mountain Goats records and also because i had no idea how to record an album. they may sound like garbage but i stand by these songs.

buying the EP will score you a bonus track. Super Neutral is a full band now and we are finishing up our first real EP, "Dry Rot", which will be available in the fall. the bonus track on this release, "All My Friends Are Cigarettes", is an acoustic version of a song from the upcoming EP.
